Ruben Moreno

Ruben was born in Madrid, Spain but spent most of his early years near Miami, Florida before moving to North Carolina, where he began composing and playing music in his early teens. He began playing the bass guitar in March of 1992, when a chance spin of Rush’s seminal Moving Pictures captured his imagination. In 1995, during his junior year of high school, Ruben met guitarist Juan Mantilla, and the two began jamming. Sharing musical influences and writing their first songs together, the pair eventually met drummer Steve Laur in 1999, cementing the band as a trio. With the release of Transist, the band feels renewed excitement to tackle their next project.
